It’s almost time to hear the bell ring! Charter sales for the 2016 Polar Express season will begin on Monday, August 1st at 9:00am and will end on Wednesday, August 31st. Tickets for the 2016 season will go on sale to the General Public on October 3rd at 9:00am. ALL TICKETS ARE SOLD ONLINE ONLY. Want to get early access to Polar Express tickets? When do tickets go on sale?

Charter sales for whole cars begin on Monday, August 3rd at 9:00am, phone only. Tickets go on sale to members on Wednesday, September 7th at 9:00am, online only. Tickets go on sale to the General Public on Monday, October 3rd at 9:00am, online only.

Can I call Customer Service to purchase my Polar Express tickets?

All tickets are sold online only until November 1st. Due to the high volume of calls; we are unable to place phone orders for Polar Express. If you do not have access to a computer, we suggest visiting your local library or asking a friend!

If I purchase tickets, and I am unable to take the train for any reason, are my tickets refundable?

All tickets are non-refundable without the purchase of Refund Protection. Refund Protection is available at check out. With refund protection, the Customer Service office must be notified at least 3 days in prior to your trip, and we cannot guarantee tickets can or will be switched to a different date if the event is sold out.

Can I pick up my tickets at Will Call?

Tickets are available for print at home only. We do not offer a will call option. Please print out your tickets upon receiving the email confirmation. There is a .25 fee per ticket that is added to the total cost of your tickets. Email confirmations will not be resent due to lost tickets. Upon entering your information at check out, please confirm that your email address is correct and valid. 

Is the train Wheelchair/Walker accessible?

The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad has a handicap accessible car with a lift.  Please call our Customer Service office at 1-800-468-4070 ext. 1 to purchase your tickets.

Can I bring a snack or other food and beverages on board the train?

No outside food or beverage is allowed on board. Passengers with outside foods or beverages will be prohibited from boarding.

Is there food or Polar Express merchandise on the train?

There is a concession car on board that will offer a variety of snacks and non-alcoholic beverages as well as Polar Express merchandise. You will have time at the beginning and end of the trip to visit this car.

Are there restrooms on the train?

There are restrooms on the board the train and at the boarding platform.
