Main Boarding Sites

Rockside Station

7900 Old Rockside Road

Take I-77 to the Rockside Road exit (Exit #155).
Go East on Rockside Road 1.2 miles to Canal Road.
Go North on Canal Road 1 short block.
Then turn West (left) on OLD Rockside Road.
The boarding site is 0.10 miles on the left. Signs are posted.

Akron Northside Station

From the NORTH via I-271 to Route 8 OR I-77 South to Route 8 North: Follow Route 8 directions below.

From the SOUTH via I-77 North to Route 8 North: Follow directions to Route 8 below.

From EAST via I-76 West to Route 8 North: Follow directions to Route 8 below.

From the WEST via I-76 East to Route 59 to Howard Street. Left on Howard Street two blocks to Ridge Street and turn right. Boarding site is on the left.

FROM ROUTE 8 (North or South) exit at Perkins St. (from the north turn right, from the south turn left) which turns into Martin Luther King. Follow Martin Luther King to Howard St. Turn right on Howard St., two blocks to Ridge St. and turn right. Boarding site is on the left.

Peninsula Depot

Take I-271 to Route 303 East to Peninsula or Route 8 to Route 303 West to Peninsula.
In the heart of downtown Peninsula, go North on Locust St. (Akron-Peninsula Rd.)
Go West (left) on Mill Street.
The Depot is located straight ahead on Mill St.
Parking is available at the Lock 29 Trailhead parking lot.

Canton Lincoln Highway Station

Take 77 South to the Tuscarawas Exit, at the exit go through three lights at the third light (BP on right) make a left follow to Downtown Ford on your left, you will see the station just off the side of Downtown Ford at Brown (light) make a left Then make left into the parking lot.

Brecksville Station

From I-77: Take I-77 to the Brecksville exit (#149 A). This will put you on route 82 East. Proceed east on Route 82 for 3.1 miles to Riverview Road. Turn south onto Riverview Road. Proceed south .3 mile to the Brecksville Station (Station Road Trailhead) entrance. Turn east and follow road across railroad tracks to parking area.

From I-271 and Route 8: Exit at Route 82 Brecksville exit. Turn west on Route 82. Proceed 4.5 miles to Riverview Road. Turn south onto Riverview Road. Proceed south .3 mile to the Brecksville Station (Station Road Trailhead) entrance. Turn east and follow road across railroad tracks to parking area.

Boston Mill Station

From the SOUTH on I-71 or I-77: Take I-71 or I- 77 to I-271 north. Take I-271 to the Route 303 exit (exit 12). Turn right (east) onto Route 303 and proceed approximately 2.7 miles to the first traffic light (Riverview Road). Turn left (north) and proceed north on Riverview Road for 1.6 miles to Boston Mills. Parking lot will be on the left (west) side of road.

From Route 8: Take the Route 303 exit. Turn west on Route 303 (follow signs to Peninsula) and proceed approximately 3.3 miles to Riverview Road. Turn right (north) and proceed on Riverview Road 1.6 miles to Boston Mills Ski Resort. Parking lot will be on the left (west) side of road.

From the NORTH on I-77: Take I-77 to the Miller Road exit (Exit 147). Turn left (east) on Miller Road proceed to traffic light. Turn right (south) onto Brecksville Road (Route 21). Proceed south .4 miles to Snowville Road. Turn left (east) on Snowville Road and proceed 2.9 miles to Riverview Road. Turn right (south) on Riverview Road and proceed south for 1.5 miles to Boston Mills Ski Resort. Parking lot is on the right (west) side of road.

From the EAST via the Ohio Turnpike: Take the Turnpike to Exit #180 (formerly Exit #12) and follow exit signs for Route 8 South to Akron. Follow the above directions from Route 8.

From the West via the Ohio Turnpike: Take the Turnpike to Exit #173 (formerly Exit #11) and follow exit signs for Route 21 North to Cleveland. Take Route 21 north to the second traffic light (Snowville Road). Turn right (east) onto Snowville Road and follow 2.9 miles to the end at Riverview Road. Turn right (South) onto Riverview Road and proceed 1.5 miles to Boston Mills Ski Resort. Parking lot will be on the right (west) side of the road.

Botzum (Indian Mound) Station

From I-77: Take I-77 to the Ghent Road exit 138. Turn south onto Ghent Road. Proceed south on Ghent Road 1.5 miles to Smith Road. Turn east onto Smith Road. Proceed east on Smith Road approximately 3 miles to Riverview Road. Turn north onto Riverview Road and proceed 1.3 miles to the Indian Mound parking area. Turn left into the parking area.

Howe Meadow

From the Northwest or Southeast: Take I-77 to the Ghent Road Exit (#138). Turn right onto Ghent Road. Proceed south on Ghent Road 1.5 miles to Smith Road. Turn left (east) onto Smith Road and follow approximately 3 miles until it dead-ends into Riverview Road. Turn left (east) and follow Riverview Road approximately 3 1/2 miles to the Howe Meadow (Special Events Site) Boarding Site. Parking will be on the left.

From the Northeast: Take I-271 to the Route 8 Exit. Follow Route 8 south to Route 303. Turn right (west) onto Route 303 and follow approximately 3-1/2 miles to Riverview Road. Turn left (south) and follow Riverview Road approximately 4 miles to the Howe Meadow (Special Events Site) Boarding Site. Parking will be on the right.

From the South: Take Route 8 north to Steels Corners Road Exit. Turn left (west) onto Steels Corners Road and follow until it dead-ends into Akron-Peninsula Road. Turn right (north) and follow Akron-Peninsula Road approximately 1-1/2 miles to Ira Road. Turn left (west) and take Ira Road to the first intersection. (Riverview Road). Turn right (north) onto Riverview Road and take approximately 1/2 mile to Howe Meadow (Special Events Site) Boarding Site. Parking will be on the left.
